MLK U of L Day of Service

Many Americans have made Martin Luther King Day a day of service in honor of the work of Dr. King. Students at the University of Louisville were no exception. On Monday January 16 EDGE was honored to have 11 volunteers help in the warehouse. The volunteers were a combination of students and alumni who wanted to give back to our community.

While the tasks they did were not clean or easy, they rolled up their sleeves and worked hard. Some of the group worked on tables for our new manufacturing area to paint blue. Meanwhile, others processed shoes that have been donated. The shoes were matched, tied together and put into big boxes for the exporter. A good time was had by all as the crew worked in littles ways to save many lives!
